Covid 19 Cases See An Uptick In India Active Cases Surpass 5000 For First Time In 109 Days


COVID-19 In India: Amidst the fear of H3N2 influenza in the country, there is a surge in the cases of corona once again. In many areas of the country, there is a rapid increase in the cases of Kovid-19. After last 109 days, 5,000 active cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in the country. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on Friday (March 17), the cases of corona virus infection increased to 796 in a single day.

According to the data, till March 17, the number of active cases in the country has increased to 5,026, while the total death toll has increased to 5,30,795 due to the death of 5 people. Health Ministry data said, “A total of 98,727 tests were conducted on Thursday (March 16), while 220.64 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccine have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.”

Corona died in these states

According to the Health Ministry, one patient each died in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Puducherry and Uttar Pradesh and Kerala. According to this health ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.80 percent. The number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 4,41,57,685. The death rate of the epidemic has been recorded at 1.19 percent. The recovery rate from Corona is 98.80 percent.

How many new cases were found on 16 March

According to the website of the Union Health Ministry, in India on Thursday (March 16) corona virus 754 new cases of infection were reported. The total number of active corona cases in the country has reached 4,623. Earlier, on November 12 last year, 734 cases of corona infection were reported in a single day.

Alert issued to these 6 states

An alert has been issued to 6 states by the Central Government regarding the spurt in the cases of Kovid-19. In view of the ever-increasing cases of corona infection in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, instructions have been issued by the Union Health Ministry regarding measures for investigation, monitoring and prevention.
